Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs. lean ground beef
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup Motts applesauce (it's gluten free)
  • 1 cup gluten-free cracker crumbs OR parmesan cheese
  • 1 medium onion – chopped
  • ¼ cup green bell pepper - chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce (it's gluten free)
  • 1 cup Heinz Ketchup (it’s gluten free)

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 1 hour
Servings: 6-8

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients, thoroughly blending the mixture.
  3. Mixture should be moist, so if needed, add a small amount of water.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly into a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes in a preheated oven.
  6. Pour off any excess fat, and serve warm.
