Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1-1/4 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/4 cup corn starch
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Butter for greasing baking pan

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease the bottom and sides of an 8X8 baking pan with butter.
  3. Melt ½ cup butter, then whisk in the cocoa powder. Set aside.
  4. In a large bowl, mix together sugars, eggs, vanilla, corn starch and salt.
  5. Add in the butter/cocoa mixture and blend well.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour brownie mixture into baking pan and bake for 30 minutes or until the blade of a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  8. Cool and serve!
